Your second option is to create a random piece of creative writing. Below are 12 options that you may choose to write on:
6) Write a fictional scary encounter with your hairdresser or barber.

My mom is always nagging me about getting my hair cut and it being " too shaggy" or messy. Most of the time I strongly disagree. Usually when she makes this statement, it's when I just get my hair how I want and I really like it at the time. It never fails. But this time, it was getting to long and it was starting to bug me. So, I listened to her. I looked around for a popular Barber shop or a good hair dresser. I found a fantastic one by the look of the advertisement. So the next day, I went down there to make an appointment and get a nice hair cut. But of course, they were closed down and out of business. Just my luck. On the way home from the disappointment, I saw a barber shop. The place looked alright, kinda run down but hey whats the difference! I walked in and everything this was intriguing to my sense's. The colours of the walls around me from the unfamiliar scent in the hair which made my mind glaze over with a mental fog. the kind of feeling you get during Christmas time when all the fresh baking in the oven opens up your mind and the Christmas spirit envelopes us all. By this time I was sitting in the chair looking at my self in an odd sort of mirror. It looked normal enough, but myself, I looked different that normal. For one I had an extremely goofy look on my face, and two, my hair wasn't the same it looked amazing. Like I've never seen it before. But before I had the chance to take it in more fully, it vanished and I saw my self. I remember the lady behind me asking if I liked what I saw and I told her the truth. I told her that the image that seemed to have been conjured in front of me, was the most amazing thing I had ever seen! She told me that she would bargain with me. For the hair cut, to make it look exactly like the way I had seen it, I would have to work there for a month and a half helping her with her supplies OR, I would have to pay an unruly amount of money. So instincts led me to do the work, I mean how hard could it be! As soon as I told her my choice she nodded her head and slipped away. All I could think about was the image that I was going to have! when she came back, she had something in her hand, and when I opened my mouth to ask what it was, she slipped a pill into my mouth and I passed out. When I awoken, I was in a rouge coloured room, with that same unfamiliar scent. I figured that I was in the same building. The lady was sitting across from me reading her book and looked up to see that I was awake. When she realized I had woken up she stated " You will be helping me recreate people for the next month and a half. With your help, I will have my own race of super good-looking genetically altered beings!" By this time, I started to get a bit creeped out, but at that moment, I realized how good looking this woman actually was. Then I looked past her, and spotted a mirror and the refection of my self. Well what I thought to be my self because I had seen this image before, when I was sitting in the chair at this very barber shop! I was thrilled! As I was so caught up in my emotions, a thought came into my head . Whats the catch? An extremely altered face looking to be from the gods themselves, for a month and a half of work? It just doesn't click. But I let the thought slip and carried on with my extraordinarily happy sense. I worked off my month and a half and at the end of it, and the thought came back. I asked the lady and she said there was no catch, she just liked having company. Which I believed because I was so drawn in my her beauty. Strange thing was, my appearance hadn't changed once since I got my hair cut. The other strange thing was I never went home during the time period when I was working there. That thought, never had crossed my mind. So I left the building and stopped abruptly. The building was no longer old and ratty, but new and more attractive. Actually, come to think of it, everything looked better! Everything looked like it was, in some sort of Beautified state. I got home and everything there was different too. I went down stairs into my bathroom and looked in the mirror and I couldn't believe my eyes! Not only was I hideous, but i was shriveled up, wrinkly and old looking! It was as if all of my facial features, had turned on me and I looked like a broken rock mushed with a pile of sand. but everything around me still looked incredible. I must of sucked out all my looks and put them into other people and threw them everywhere on every thing. I went back to the barber shop and I asked the lady what had happened to me! She just giggled and walked away.

Sleepwalking is a general term that ever body knows. But what most people don't know, is the activities That may occur. Many people, only suffer from minor cases of sleep walking that go from sitting up in bed, to walking into the bathroom to have a shower. But in more severe cases, People can even get into there car and start to drive, and even commit homicide. Many cases only involve repetitive patterns while immersed in complex behaviors while sleeping. The time period of people sleep walking, can last from 30 seconds, to half an hour. Sleepwalking is a disorder that can be grown out of in early childhood stages. Between 25 and 33% of sleepwalkers have nocturnal enuresis. Which is also know as "bed wetting". This is more common in children than adults. Night terrors is also a common phenomenon for all ages, but its more common in adult sleepwalkers, up too 50% more common. There is controversy between whether it is ok to wake a sleepwalker, or if you should just leave them. Some experts say you shouldn't wake them, but guide them back to there bed very gently. Others say waking a sleep walker will cause disorientation, but will not harm them.

The definition of a hallucination is a Latin term that means "to wander mentally". They can  involve the sense of feeling, hearing, seeing, smelling and some times even tasting things that aren't actually present. The most common hallucination is just seeing and hearing imaginary objects. Hallucinations are often associated with Schizophrenia. Although hallucinations often occur to people with the bipolar disorder. Real examples of hallucinations have been posted on the Internet;" I don't see pink cartoon bunnies, but sometimes when manic or hypomanic I think I see things like motion peripherally where there is none or stuff moving in the reflections in mirrors. I think I hear my name or weird unclear snatches of noise. It makes me paranoid and then I see more stuff, but I don't actually see anything. It's more like a visual or auditory twitch."  (http://bipolar.about.com/cs/faqs/f/faq_hallucinate.htm). The term for a mild cause of a hallucination is known as a disturbance. it can occur in visual, auditory, olfactory, gustatory, tactile, proprioceptive, equilibrioceptive, nociceptive, thermoceptive and chronoceptive senses. To the Over Users Of Facebook

( Facebook Obsessor's be warned this is a rant pointed directly towards you) During the last few years of when Facebook has been a raging uproar to success, people have become obsessive. People cannot get enough of this website. So obsessed that Facebook needed to make an application so the site is accessibly every where you go. Its available on people's phones, all over people's Ipod's, you can even get Facebook to send you texts so you always have it in the palm of your hand. People are engulfed in the need to be connected socially to every body. No one can be left out for a SINGLE moment! Can you not imagine the horror of it! The other extremely annoying thing about Facebook users these days, is that people have nothing better to do but take quizzes, comment on everything, "like" everything, join groups every two second for everything so pointless and in amusing that its really just a waste of time. The next day you log onto Facebook and you look at your requests, and there is a significant number of "challenges" to beat someones high score on a game or quiz! Really, I could care less about the stupid facebook quiz that tells you nothing. These people should go out side and get some exercise or go actually socialize with people, instead of using facebook to 'talk' to people. The most. utterly pointless, most un-use full thing people do to over use there facebook, is updating there status about everything they do. " ... is eating with the family, having KD with Hot Dogs in it, Mmmmm!" or " ... is about to go to bed, good night every body, see you tomorrow". This is an over obsession that should not be shared. People have to tell me there going to bed over the Internet on their status, should not be on Facebook. The Facebook creation was a great way to get in connection with people and be able to talk to them, but this is just taking it over the top people. I believe some of these people are over using the rights that Facebook offers. Therefore, they should learn how to use a website properly without having to tell me what they are doing every step of the way. Its too much information. ' Mitch says... See You tomorrow every one, I'm going to bed!'

My Top 3

Today's blog challenge is to choose the top 3 (of anything) and justify your choice. You may choose the top three hockey players of all time, the greatest musicians, the top three reasons to do something...the possibilities are endless. Here is a suggested sequence of events for the blog:

1. Choose your topic

2. Choose the criteria you are using to make your choices, and explain it to the reader. For example, if you are ranking the top three hockey players, how are you choosing to judge them? Points scored? Plus/minus rating? Years in the league? Stanley Cups won?

3. Type your blog out by first explaining the topic you have chosen, and the criteria for your choices. Then state each of your top three choices, and dedicate approximately a paragraph to each one that justifies why it deserves the ranking you gave it. As always, formal language and proper spelling and grammar applies.

Top 3 Places I've Been

1. New York City
2. North Carolina
3. Florida

I am ranking these by the interesting things I saw in the State.

New York was the my top choice because I was walking around Times Square and Ground Zero. I was also around the Twin Tower's Monument with the eternal flame burning right beside it. I was in Manhattan and it was really awesome, we went into the HUGE Macy's. 7 stories high, and a New York block long. It had everything! I was also there with my lacrosse team so that was really fun. We went into a big candy store in the Rockefeller, it was good for the ride home. we also saw the "naked cowboy" and he was playing his guitar in times square. That is why New York was my favorite choice.

North Carolina is second because it was really good for the lacrosse and the University tours we went on. The fields were really really nice and I've been there twice and its been the same. In the Freshmen year, when I first started a lacrosse program which allowed me to go here, it was the first trip I had been on with the team, so naturally, it made it a good experience. We went to UNC ( University of North Carolina) and it was a very good tour. We got to see a lot and again, it was the first tour I had been on with the program. The second University we toured, was DUKE. It was really interesting to see the old buildings that were stationed there. North Carolina has definitely earned the second place spot.

Florida is third because it was good too see everything there and it was just a fun place to be in. I went there with my lacrosse program again, and it was really fun. It was a tournament there and we ended up getting second I believe. So that made it pretty awesome. While we were there, we went to a Tampa Bay Lightning game against the New York Islanders. It was my first ever NHL game so I was pretty exited for it. It was also the first game Tampa Bay had played with there new name, The Bolts. So it was cool to be in the atmosphere. But the biggest reason why my third choice is Florida, is because the palm tree's there were so cool!

A Thought in My Head

Life is like a game, you shoot for your target and if you miss, you hit some thing or some one behind it, there are consequences to face, lessons to be learned and 'game' strategy along the way, as you go along, you get wiser from your mistakes, you remember to not do something if you got in trouble for it or got told no, but the most important thing to remember...When your stuck with an obstacle in your way, shoot it down!!

Spanish Class

Spanish class... As we have learned( we is me including mike), has turned out to be EXTREMELY annoying and a pain in my... bottom. Our teacher hooked us in on the first day, thinking it was going to be a good first semester, by giving us candy, treats, and she was nice. Now, she is more strict, bribes us with games, and worst of all, we don't even get to play the games!!! :O This, happened today, " Class, we will play bingo today but we have to get through our work first" we all witnessed this AND!!!! At the end she said" we have ran out of time class, we wont be playing bingo and we have a test tomorrow on the words from today". In my perspective, wasn't bingo supposed to teach us those words for tomorrow!? Oooohhh well. guess were going to have to deal with it. she better have candy tomorrow.

p.s. Spanish teachers remind me of rabbits for some reason...

Super Powers

If i could have ANY super power in the world, i would pick the power to shape shift, Any other super power would be inferiour to this. You could get out of the most sticky of situations in any shape, way, or form. (Not only was that a pun but it would be reality). Some one who wished to be super strong, or super cunning, i could just Change into something more strong, or something more clever! It out matches every super power out there! It would be the most Genious power out there and if i had it, you wouldnt know what i really was.
